The International Coalition of Girls' Schools conference in Boston, USA, was an excellent opportunity to hear of important work in girls' education from around the world. Three Pymble staff presented their research following opportunities sparked by the Bright Field Global Mentoring program and the Coalition's Global Action Research initiative.
Pymble’s research culture is equally balanced between a focus on student research activities and activities more directed at staff, such as this conference. Coming together as action researchers, critical friends, research partners, participants and research designers, we embrace the opportunity to build our skills, share our findings and reflect on ‘the research world’ of someone else.

The second edition of the student journal, Perspective, is available online. With 16 articles from Year 7 to Year 12 2021, this edition includes exemplars of research in Extension Science, Extension History, courses, external competitions and passion projects. We are proud to give our students a voice and a way of communicating their research.
